A six-week plan can give home learning a little structure without making every afternoon feel scheduled. I use one focus, one practice habit, and one enjoyable activity each week.
What I cover in this video
I walk you through the idea step by step and share practical ways to make it work at home. You can pause the video, try one small part, and return when your child is ready.
Choose one weekly focus
I pick a manageable theme such as reading fluency, number sense, science vocabulary, or creative writing. Repetition helps the skill stick.
Use a three-part session
I try a short warm-up, one focused page or game, and a closing conversation. I stop while my child still feels successful.
Review progress kindly
At the end of each week, I ask what felt easy, what needs another try, and what my child would like to explore next.
My notes for parents
This is an edited version of the ideas I share in the video. I recommend watching the video once, then choosing the suggestions that fit your child and your routine. There is no need to finish everything in one sitting.
My parent tip: Keep the first session short, notice your child’s effort, and come back to the activity another day.
Pair my plan with free resources and a simple tracker your child can mark independently.
