Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

World of Dhiyara (“Dhiyara,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates dhiyara.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, who may receive it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.

Privacy Officer: Site Owner, World of Dhiyara

Who this website is for

Dhiyara provides educational ideas and printable resources for parents, guardians, educators, and other adults. Although the learning materials are made for children, the website, checkout, accounts, comments, and email forms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information or make purchases. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact our Privacy Officer so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

Information we collect

Orders and digital downloads

When you place an order, we collect the information needed to complete it: first and last name, country or region, email address, the products ordered, price and currency, order and transaction references, payment status, timestamps, and download permissions or activity. Guest checkout is available; an account is not required to buy or download a paid product.

If you choose to create an account, WordPress and WooCommerce also store your username, email address, password in hashed form, account activity, orders, and available downloads.

Payments

Payments may be offered through Razorpay or PayPal. The selected provider collects and processes payment credentials on its systems and may perform identity, security, compliance, and fraud checks. We do not intentionally collect or store your complete card number. We receive information needed to confirm and manage the order, such as the payer or customer details shared by the provider, transaction reference, amount, currency, payment status, and fraud or dispute information.

Free downloads, contact forms, and email

If a free resource or contact form asks for information, we collect the fields shown on that form, which may include your name, email address, message, and the resource requested. We use that information to respond, provide the requested resource, troubleshoot delivery, and prevent abuse. Requesting a free resource does not subscribe you to marketing unless the form clearly offers that choice and you select it.

Comments

If you leave a comment, we collect the comment, the name and email address you provide, an optional website address, your IP address, browser user-agent string, and anti-spam results. Approved comments and the public name attached to them are visible to other visitors. If you opt to save your comment details, WordPress places cookies in your browser for convenience.

Newsletter

If we display a newsletter form and you subscribe, we collect your email address and any other fields shown, along with consent and delivery records. We use this information to send the messages you requested. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Order and download emails are service messages and are separate from marketing consent.

Information collected automatically

Our website, hosting, caching, download, and security systems may automatically record IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested URLs, date and time, session or cookie identifiers, download requested and result, and security or diagnostic events. We use these records to deliver pages and files, maintain shopping-cart sessions, protect the site, detect fraud or abuse, diagnose errors, and understand aggregate performance.

Why we use personal information

  • To provide requested content, process orders, confirm payments, and deliver secure downloads.
  • To respond to messages, support requests, refunds, disputes, and privacy requests.
  • To operate accounts, comments, forms, email delivery, and other features you choose to use.
  • To secure the website, prevent spam and fraud, enforce purchase and download limits, and investigate misuse.
  • To maintain financial, tax, and business records and comply with applicable law.
  • To improve website reliability and content using necessary operational data and aggregate information.
  • To send marketing only where you have chosen to receive it or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Where laws require us to identify a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract (for purchases and requested downloads), legitimate interests (such as operating, securing, and improving the service), legal obligations (such as financial records), and consent (such as optional marketing and non-essential tracking).

Cookies and similar technologies

We use necessary cookies and local browser storage to provide the shopping cart and checkout, remember a session, protect forms, support login, balance caching, and remember choices. WooCommerce cookies may include cart-content indicators and a customer-session identifier. WordPress may use login and comment-preference cookies when those features are used.

Third-party media or optional measurement services may use additional cookies or similar technologies. Where consent is required, these services should not be activated until you make a choice. You can also block or delete cookies using your browser, but blocking necessary cookies may prevent the cart, checkout, account, or download features from working properly.

Service providers and disclosures

We disclose personal information only as needed for the purposes in this policy, to the following types of recipients:

  • Payment providers: Razorpay and PayPal. PayPal acts as an independent controller for the customer data it processes for payment services.
  • Website and store technology: our web host and WordPress/WooCommerce services needed to operate orders, accounts, and downloads.
  • Email and marketing: our email-delivery provider, and Mailchimp if you choose to use a Mailchimp-powered subscription form. See Intuit’s privacy statement.
  • Spam and security: Akismet/Automattic for comment-spam screening and Wordfence/Defiant for website security. See Automattic’s privacy policy and Wordfence’s privacy policy.
  • Backups and storage: our hosting and protected cloud-backup providers, which may include Google Drive.
  • Professional or legal recipients: advisers, tax or accounting providers, financial institutions, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, handle a dispute, or complete a business reorganization.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share checkout or free-download email addresses with advertisers for their own marketing.

YouTube and other embedded content

Some pages contain videos or other content embedded from third-party websites, including YouTube. Loading or interacting with embedded content may allow that provider to receive your IP address, browser or device information, the page viewed, and cookie or account information, particularly if you are signed in to that service. YouTube content is governed by Google’s privacy policy. You can follow a link to YouTube instead of playing an embedded video where that option is available.

International processing

Some service providers operate in other provinces or countries, including the United States and India. Personal information may therefore be processed outside your place of residence and may be subject to the laws and lawful access rules of those locations. We select established providers and use available contractual and technical protections appropriate to the service.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected and any legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or security requirement. The period depends on the record:

  • Order, payment-confirmation, and transaction records are kept for the period required for accounting, tax, refund, chargeback, and legal obligations.
  • Download permissions are kept while a customer remains entitled to the purchased file. Download and security logs are kept for delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and security review, then deleted or anonymized when no longer required.
  • Contact and free-download messages are kept while the request is handled and for a reasonable follow-up period.
  • Comments remain with the relevant post unless removed; anti-spam records may be retained separately.
  • Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe or we close the list, subject to a limited suppression record used to honour your opt-out.
  • Backups are retained on a rotating schedule and are deleted or overwritten in the ordinary backup cycle.

Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small online store, including access controls, security monitoring, protected download locations, backups, and encrypted HTTPS on the public website. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, receive a copy, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, withdraw consent, object to or restrict certain uses, or request portability. You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time. These rights can be subject to identity verification and legal exceptions; for example, we may need to retain transaction records required by law.

To make a request or complaint, email worldofdhiyara@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Please describe your request and the email address or order number involved. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also contact the privacy regulator that applies where you live, including the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where applicable.

External links

Our site may link to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we encourage you to review them before providing information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. We will change the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where a change materially affects how we collect, use, or disclose personal information.
